Quality Control Measures:

     (1)   Choose a suitable translator according to a subject matter of invention. Requirements: make clear problems of prior art, understand solutions and technical effects of the invention, and translate every technical detail indeed.

     (2)   Proofreading by a senior professional translator. It should ensure the translation is accurate, complete, smooth and logical so as to achieve a standard of “faithfulness”, “expressiveness” and “smoothness”.

     (3)   Expert review: a review is done by experts who have years of patent translation/review experience (and have working experience in patent examination and patent agency). It should ensure the translation conforms to rules and provisions of the patent laws and is in conformity with the format and style of patent application.

     (4)   Term list: translators should refer to the professional term list and/or the customer term list during their translation and proofreading, so as to ensure that translation of term is accurate and idiomatic.

     (5)   Seminars and lectures for new technology and difficult cases.

     (6)   Learn from feedback of clients if any.

     (7)   Designate fixed translators for a long-term customer.

     (8)   Communicate with our customers often and listen to their opinions.
